This Web conference is intended to introduce the recently revised and expanded AAHA Canine Vaccination Guidelines.

The objective of this presentation is to provide veterinarians and staff, with important, updated recommendations pertaining to the vaccination of young and adult dogs. In addition, this latest iteration of the Canine Vaccination Guidelines includes several new sections that will provide practicing veterinarians with insights on new vaccines and topical issues pertaining to the selection and use of vaccines in practice, such as: therapeutic biologics licensed for the treatment, rather than prevention of disease, rabies vaccination laws and regulations at the individual state-level, antibody testing versus vaccination, vaccine storage and handling, and much more.

Because of the expanded content of this update, the AAHA Canine Vaccination Guidelines is being published online for the first time. This Web-based version of vaccination guidelines offers the advantage easy access to pertinent information and ‘real-time’ updates on new products, research (references), and technologies as they are introduced.
