This course is composed of three short sessions from the NAVC Conference 2016's  My Favorite Anesthetic Protocols Symposium

Sedation and Anesthesia in Canine Mitral Insufficiency: Reviews and discusses different considerations when sedating or anesthetizing dogs with mitral valve disease and insufficiency.

Pain Management in Large Soft Tissue Resection:   Covers an evidence-based soft-tissue resection pain-management protocol based on the principles found in the 2015 AAHA/AAFP Pain Management Guidelines.

Sedation and Anesthesia in Upper Airway Disease:    Discusses and reviews the considerations when sedating or anesthetizing dogs with upper airway disease (eg. laryngeal paralysis and tracheal collapse).
