Feline Idiopathic Cystitis and The Stressed Out Kitty

This course will review Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, along with the stress connection and nutritional management of such cats. The goal in this web conference is for participants to achieve a better understanding of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis and how stress impacts the bladder. Additionally, Dr. Barbara Lewis will discuss the best diet selection for the management of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis and the necessary steps to build a healthy diet for these patients.

Barbara Lewis

A Florida native who graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, Dr. Lewis has worked in small animal practice, shelter medicine and industry.  An active member of her local VMA, AVMA and FVMA, Dr. Lewis currently serves as a contributing member of the St. Petersburg College’s Veterinary Technology Advisory Committee. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, boating and spending time with her husband, two daughters, three cats, and one poodle named Cinder.
