At VetFolio, our mission is to do our part to elevate the quality of animal medical care throughout the world by providing online CE and resources for the entire veterinary community, any time, any where. Simply put, it is our vision to provide continuous education to ALL veterinary professionals. Meet the team who is dedicated to fulfilling that mission and vision!
Jay Hula is VetFolio’s Executive Director. He joined the team in November 2016 after a 12-year career as a National Account Executive with AT&T. Prior to his work at AT&T, Jay also owned and managed multiple food service venues. Jay’s experience has helped him develop skills necessary for growing teams and helping them reach their potential, while developing, in him, a discriminating taste for tacos. Jay is excited to work with VetFolio and continue his passion for helping teams achieve personal and professional development goals. When he’s not strategically planning for VetFolio’s future you can find Jay on the softball field, traveling with his wife Sarah, watching Gator sports or playing the guitar. Jay and Sarah are pet parents to a 16-year-old toy poodle named Pepsi. Ironically, Jay prefers to drink Coca-Cola.
Elsbeth is VetFolio’s Content Manager. She worked in communications for 12 years before joining the team. Elsbeth’s experience as a daily newspaper reporter and content strategist for associations has equipped her with the deadline-juggling, coffee-drinking and project-managing skills needed to coordinate the content for VetFolio, and make the site engaging and relevant for the veterinary industry. When she’s not editing, designing coding or copy-writing, you can find her spending time with her husband, Brian, their twin boys, Max and Wyatt, and their grumpy, old-man Dachshund, Franklin.
Tiffany is VetFolio’s System Manager. She is a creative problem solver who serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the database that supports our user experience at VetFolio. Tiffany has a great love of animals, and nurtures a menagerie of pets, many of whom are frequent visitors to the VetFolio offices. Her pet family includes Halo, a Chihuahua; Oskar and Duke, both long-haired Dachshunds; and cats Milo, Fiona and Moolan. When she’s not offering our users excellent customer service, or snuggling with her pet crew, you can often find Tiffany in the CrossFit gym or watching a good movie.
George W. Butz, IV
George is VetFolio’s Data Analyst. You’ll often find him buried in metrics and data, working to determine how you’re using our site. He’s inspired by the idea of making a difference in the world by improving the human-animal bond through his work at VetFolio and he hopes our service helps users improve the quality of care for animals everywhere. When he’s not navigating spreadsheets, you can often find him planning team lunches, behind the lens of a camera or at the race track. George is a pet parent to Lola and Samuel, two hound mixes, a kitten named Pippa and Mr. Spock, a rabbit.
Mary Hannah Miller
Mary Hannah works to wrangle our awesome sponsors — whose support makes VetFolio possible — as our Sponsor Coordinator. She loves working in the veterinary field with so many passionate industry stakeholders, and often finds their enthusiasm contagious. In addition to her work in the veterinary industry, Mary Hannah — with her creative and artistic eye and a penchant for sarcastic banter — is also enthusiastic about crafts. When she’s not working on her beading loom in her craft room you may find her boating or binge watching NetFlix with her husband Ben, and Aggie, their black lab mix.
